It was two years ago, in September 2011, that Stagecoach launched the overnight Megabus. com sleeper coach service between Glasgow and London, using three converted articulated coaches. The four Jonckheere-bodied Volvo B10MAs-three 12-year-olds with Modulo bodies and a 15-year-old Mistral-were soon operating with full loads, allowing the service to break even rather than make a profit.
