Nationwide realtime info by 2015

Stagecoach plans to have realtime information available to passengers across its UK network by the end of 2015. It has awarded VIX Technology a multi-million pound contract to supply and support a system based on VIX TP5000 ticket machines already on its buses. This will track vehicle location and deliver live information to bus stop displays, mobile apps and the internet. A pilot should be completed by next summer.
