Baker finds ￡20m for GBF4

England's transport minister, Norman Baker, has delighted the bus industry by announcing a fourth round of Green Bus Fund support for the purchase of additional low carbon buses in 2013/14. Thanks to underspending in other parts of the Department for Transport's budget, ￡20million is being made available for buses ordered by 19 July 2013 and placed in service by 31 March 2014. Bids for funding must be submitted by 26 March and the DfT intends to announce the winners during May.
