New MD for Go-Ahead in East Anglia

Gavin Hunter (pictured) has moved within Go-Ahead Group to succeed Julian Patterson as managing director of its East Anglian businesses Konectbus, Anglian Bus, Hedingham and Chambers. Go-Ahead says Patterson, who co-founded Konectbus in 1999 along with two ex-First colleagues, 'has decided to move on' four years after the group acquired the business. He was the last of the acquired independents' MDs to leave. Hunter joined First in 2003 as a graduate trainee, moved to Go-Ahead in December 2006, holding posts with Go South Coast, Metrobus and train company Southeastern.
