Planning applications submitted for Bristol MetroBus north line

Bristol City and South Gloucestershire Councils have submitted planning applications for the northern part of the MetroBus bus rapid transit line. As this section of MetroBus crosses the council boundaries, the two authorities have submitted identical applications for what is billed as the North Fringe to Hengrove Package (NFHP) MetroBus, linking housing and business developments in the north and eastern fringes of Bristol. The route will incorporate new bus stops and shelters, and shared cycleway and footwav as appropriate. The proposals also include the construction of new highway junctions, bridge structures, drainage facilities, urban realm improvements, hard landscaping and planting.
