Plymouth Citybus mounts Mount Batten battle

Go-Ahead owned Plymouth Citybus has signalled another move in its competition against First in Plymouth, along with a £2million investment in new double-deckers. It also is revising the Cornwall services taken over from Western Greyhound on 8 December. The competition steps up from 12 April, when new route 4/A (City Centre-Mount Batten) will operate every 15min in competition with First South West route 2, which runs every every 10min and is First's last significant city route without competition. The 4A will also serve Oreston, left to First in December 2013.
