KMB evaluates MCV-bodied DB300 in Hong Kong

Kowloon Motor Bus is evaluating a double-decker based on VDL DB300 running units, the mechanical part of the now discontinued Wright Gemini 2DL integral built mainly for Arriva in the UK. On this bus, the Dutch-built units with 250hp Cummins ISBe Euro5 engine are installed in an Egyptian MCV D102RLE body, believed to be the first time they have been supplied with bodywork other than by Wrightbus, which commissioned the design from VDL Bus.
