Fond memories of Julian Osborne

I was very sorry to read about the death of Julian Osborne (Buses last month). I contacted Bus Users UK as few years back when National Express West Midlands tacked our local bus service on to the trunk 276 (Stourbridge-Dudley) but did not allow sufficient running time for the route and no recovery time for any delays. After several fruitless meetings with Centro and NatExWM, Julian came to a meeting here in Stourbridge with me and NatEx. He proved extremely effective in reaching a compromise that gave us a reasonably reliable service to Norton and Wollaston.
