Oxford Loline restored to service

The Oxford Bus Museum has returned one of only five AEC-engined Dennis Lolines built to running condition. City of Oxford 304 (304 KFC), a 27ft 8in (8.4m) Loline Ⅱ with 63-seat East Lancs body, was new in 1961 and formed part of a unique batch specified with 7.7litre AEC AV470 engine to meet the operator's preference for AEC products. The museum also owns similar 305, which has been sectioned for static display. The other 89 Loline Ⅰ and Ⅱ chassis all had either Gardner or Leyland engines.
