Your recent reports of bus exhibitions and profiles of operator profiles reveal many innovative developments to improve the quality of service and attract new customers. What is less reported is the potential loss of inner city short journey passengers. Several colleagues tell me they have experienced unreliable and time-consuming journeys in Leeds, caused partly by poor bus priority lanes and narrow road space preventing bus priorities from being constructed.
