Lynx and Regal showcased at SVBM

The newly restored sole survivor of the only 12 dual-door Leyland Lynx built for the UK made its first appearance at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum's open weekend on 18/19 August. Lothian Region Transport 188 (H188 OSG), powered by a horizontal Cummins L10 engine, was new in 1991 and on being sold nine years later to Brylaine Travel in Boston, Lincolnshire it was converted to a single-door layout and re-registered XAZ 1399. Brylaine took it out of service in 2006 and began cannibalising it for parts.
