OGT Supports Geothermal Conference in Chile

In July 1998, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association International (NRECA) sponsored a conference in Arica, Chile, entitled "Productive Uses of Geothermal Waters." Government and industry representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru attended the conference to explore opportunities in developing geothermal resources for electric generation and direct use in those countries.
