Blm Revised Nepa Handbook

A revised version is available of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) handbook guiding implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the BLM announced on April 24. The NEPA Handbook provides instructions, procedures, and examples for complying with regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality and guidance by the Department of the Interior's Departmental Manual for implementing NEPA.rnThe NEPA Handbook is written to establish systematic practices for integrating NEPA into the planning and decision-making processes used by the BLM, and to promote efficiency in preparing and documenting NEPA compliance. It is intended for BLM managers, field staff, and others with NEPA oversight and compliance in their program areas. The handbook was revised last in 1988.
