Local GRC Member Group Explores Newberry Volcano Geology

On August 3rd, geologist and GRC member Al Waibel hosted his annual volcanic field tour to the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. It was jointly sponsored by Davenport Newberry Holdings and the Pacific NW Section of the Geothermal Resources Council. The tour was a full day trip that encompassed several geologic points of interest around the Newberry area.
