Global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has released a new analysis which forecasts the global installed capacity of renewable energy to more than double by 2025 - increasing from 1,566 GW in 2012 to 3,203 GW in 2025. The authors estimate that global geothermal energy capacity will grow from 11.6 GW in 2012 to 20.7 GW in 2020 and 29.4 GW in 2025.
