SMU Power Plays Conference - Bringing the Geothermal and Oil & Gas Industries Together

The SMU Geothermal Laboratory hosted their 8th Power Plays: Geothermal Energy in Oil and Gas Fields conference on April 25 and 26th on campus at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. The event drew over 120 attendees, sponsors and speakers. As with previous events, a notable feature of the conference was the wide mix of professionals attending including those from oil companies, the geothermal industry, power service and technology companies, academia, government research labs, and government agencies.
