摘要

Virulence of commercially formulated products of the entomopathogenic fungi, Bioranza (Metarhizium anisopliae) and Biovar (Beauveria bassiana) to Spodoptera littoralis and Agrotis ipsilon was evaluated under laboratory conditions. The LC_(50) of Bioranza to S. littoralis was found to be 1.63 times greater than that of Biovar. On the other hand, the LC_(50) of Bioranza to A. ipsilon was 1.98 times greater than that of Biovar. The LT_(50) values indicated that Biovar was, however, faster than Bioranza in inducing mortality. The use of either Bioranza or Biovar, at the recommended concentration of 2g/l, resulted in considerable mortality of both S. littoralis and A. ipsilon.
