AN OUTLINE FOR CAS PILOT PROJECT OF KNOWLEDGE INNOVATION PROGRAM

摘要

Knowledge innovation and high-tech industrial- ization are focuses of competition among coun- tries all over the world today. Yet, the innovation capacity of China is not compatible with her eco- nomic growth, leaving a big gap when compared with domestic demand and world standards. To answer the challenge of the knowledge-based econ- omy, we have to establish a national system of innovation (NSI), upgrade the national capacity for innovation and promote the high-tech industries in a big way.
