ISG and RAM for TIMS A

Hutchison Ports TIM-SA in Manzanillo recently announced that it had invested US$2.5M in 200 bulk containers and two RAM Revolvers for handling bulk materials. The new equipment will be added to TIM-SA's existing fleet of 140 special containers and two Revolvers. TIMSA is scaling up quickly. It began containerised bulk handling (CBH) operations in April 2017, and after six months had handled 600,000t. By February 2019, it had loaded over 2.4 Mt of product, including iron ore, copper, clinker, lead and iron pellets. The cargo handled has a maximum density of 9.11 per m~3.
