The Alabama State Ports Authority (ASPA) is tendering for a new ship loader for its McDuffie Coal Terminal.rnThe rail mounted machine is to be equipped with a luffing and telescoping or a shuttle boom capable of being moved to clear vessel structures. Maximum boom outreach from the waterside rail is 100ft and minimum is 40ft. The boom conveyor design width is 72in with an operating speed of 720fpm.rnASPA is seeking a very rugged machine designed for a service life of over 25 years and capable of continuous 24 hour operation. The complete machine must meet the stringent A8 classification and structural components an E8 classification under FEM standards.
