LLX seeking more land for stockpiling...

Brazilian logistics company LLX is currently seeking additional land in the Itaguai area to expand its stockpile capacity for iron ore up 200 mt. It currently plans to operate a 50-ha area, which will allow 50 mtpa of ore to be handled at Superporto Sudeste, but wants to double this. It proposes to invest US$1B in the "Superporto Sudeste project." If everything goes according to plan, the port will eventually cover an area of 78-ha and offer draft of 21 m alongside at least two berths.
