Dust Control Technology has introduced a new nozzle design for its atomised misting equipment, engineered specifically for applications requiring smaller droplet sizes or reduced water volumes to minimise surface wetting. Developed in response to customer requests, the new Midget nozzles are suited to indoor applications such as mining, transfer stations and recycling, in which the water volumes from standard nozzle configurations could be undesirable. Users report benefits such as improved worker safety and comfort, reduced moisture in end products, and enhanced odour control. "Some dust management applications are particularly sensitive to excess water," said technical sales specialist Carl Harr.
