Port of Darwin's controversial problems with bulk cargo spillage may end later this year when major customer OZ Minerals implements containerised transport and rotary discharge of copper concentrates. Darwin Port Corporation is facing a number of charges brought by environmental authorities over alleged contamination of the port and harbour resulting from concentrates spilling from conveyors on the East Arm Wharf bulk loader.
