US-headquartered ASGCO has launched its "new and improved" E-Z Torque Tensioning System, which comes with an integrated blade wear indicator. The new patented indicator shows the amount of wear on the blade and indicates when it is time to replace it. ASGCO said its engineers are constantly striving to improve performance of every item in its product range and the new blade wear indicator is no exception. The E-Z Torque Ten- sioner is made of 304 stainless steel and allows for automatic adjusting of the blade tension throughout its lifespan. "Robust and dynamic performance makes it the preferred choice for any operation seeking the most thorough belt cleaning system available today," the company said. "By adding an external wear indicator, there is no longer a need to look inside the head chute, thus eliminating a potential safety concern."
