US-based Hyndsight Vision Systems has introduced "Journey 1", a lightweight, fully wire-free camera and monitor unit that can be used to monitor open cargo such as feedstuffs and livestock while in transit. Supplied as a complete kit, Journey 1 includes a 4.8-inch wireless sunlight-readable monitor, a wide-angle camera with a non-fish-eyed view, two flush mounts, an antenna set and two battery chargers, all in a water-resistant, protective case. The system can also be hardwired into the truck to provide power. Up to three additional cameras can be paired to one in-cab monitor. They can be mounted anywhere on the trailer, allowing full 360 deg view.
