Aurubis Architectural has supplied Nordic Royal, an alloy of copper and aluminium, to clad the atrium roof of the Clarion Hotel, Trondheim, Norway - both inside and out. The company says the atrium roof is conceived as a shattering star and provides a dramatic sight, particularly when viewed from above when arriving by air. The firm says the Nordic Royal material, with its long-lasting golden colour, has created a vibrant surface while also meeting the technical challenges of the demanding climate of the west coast of Norway.
