Civils haul gives Bam Nuttall top spot in contractors table

Bam Nuttall has surged to the top of the overall contractor table after securing four civils wins in October worth £295m in total. The contractor's wins last month included its £101.5m share of the £203m contract awarded to a Bam/Kier joint venture for enabling works at Hinkley Point C, as well as a £180m win for the Aberdeen to Inverness part of the Highland Main Line rail project in Scotland. Bam was the only contractor in the top 10 to have won any civils work in October. Top of the contractor table excluding civils was Morgan Sindall, which bagged 60 contracts last month worth a total of £242m.
