David Chipperfield profit and staff numbers bounce back

David Chipperfield Architects made good on its promise of a better 2015 with pre-tax profit rising more than threefold and staff numbers increasing again. When the firm posted disappointing results for 2014, with pre-tax profit slumping by more than half and staff numbers dropping, director Louise Dier predicted better times ahead. Its results for the year to December 2015 show pre-tax profit climbing back from £167,000 to £598,000 on revenue up by close to Elm at £8.1m. Staff numbers were up 9%. Work in the UK remained flat at £4.9m but work in the US rose 42% to £2.5m.
