Lendlease set for prized £650m Google HQ

Lendlease is tipped to land the contract for the prized Google headquarters scheme in central London's King's Cross, writes Dave Rogers. The role would be a coup for the firm and mark a return to high-profile wins that have seen it build the athletes' village at Stratford for the 2012 Olympic Games and, back in 1999, the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. Lendlease is currently developing and building the Elephant and Castle residential scheme in south London, along with the International Quarter project in Stratford, east London, which will be home to Transport for London and the Financial Conduct Authority.
