London council's housing arm unveils building plans

A council-owned housing company headed by a former Barratt boss has said it wants to build more than 300 homes over the next two years. Homes for Lambeth was set up two years ago and is chaired by former Barratt London managing director Richard Reynolds who was appointed last autumn. Unveiling a business plan this week, the firm said it wants to build more than half of the number by next March.
