Mace denies stonewalling over Barking fire

Mace has denied claims by an east London council that it refused to meet the local authority following a fire earlier this month that destroyed 20 flats and damaged dozens more on the Barking Riverside housing scheme, writes Hamish Champ. The contractor had built 64 houses on the site, although none of these were damaged in the fire (pictured) nearly two weeks ago.
