Located in the city centre,the New Beijing Poly Plaza contains 60,000 sq m of office space,a unique Chinese Antiquities Museum,retail space and entertainment facilities such as a multiplex cinema.The developer,China Poly Group,has designed a building that represents the company's subsidiaries as a unified whole.The project resulted in a powerful image reflecting the company as a landmark.rnThe initial goal was to create a new complex that,through its quality and mix of public and commercial uses,would establish a civic presence in Beijing.The building's simple monolithicrntriangular form responds to its location: a prominent intersection along the second Ring Road,near the Forbidden City.
