A full head of steam at Windermere

This is one of the shortlisted designs in the RIBA competition for the redevelopment of Windermere Steamboat Museum. On pages 10 and 11 BD exclusively reveals all eight proposals, which remain anonymous ahead of the selection of a winner next month. The £10 million project is being undertaken by the Lakeland Arts Trust with the aim of rehousing the museum's nationally significant boat collection.
