AHMM and Make submit Camden plans

Make Architects and AHMM this week submitted a planning appli cation to redevelop a controversial site in London's Camden Town. Hawley Wharf, which covers 1.8ha to the west of Camden High Street, is home to an existing mar ket and canal-side walk, but was partly destroyed by a fire in 2008. Stanley Sidings, which is partly owned by Stuart Lipton's Chels-field, is behind the plans which involve the construction of eight new buildings, ranging in height from three to nine storeys.
