Line of halogen and ceramic metal halide downlights in both flush and overlap trim styles allows installers and facility managers to adjust the light with a screwdriver, keeping hands away from the hot beam. During "hot aiming," the user's hand and the trim rotate with the lamp mechanism and stay out of the beam of light. The ID fixture 3elf-locks into position during 360-degree horizontal rotation and zero- to 45-degree vertical tilt. The fixture's spring-loaded lens tray is independent from the lamp, so the lens is not disturbed during lamp replacement. Zumtobel Lighting has partnered with Armstrong to offer a line of high-performance Armstrong TechZone-compatible lighting fixtures. TechZone systems offer a visually clean, uncluttered look on ceilings with multiple services. Modular ceiling and grid components can be configured in a variety of layouts for a custom look. Zumtobel's fixtures are installed in the six-inch-wide technical zones between ceiling panels and house other services, such as sprinklers, occupancy sensors, and air returns. Ideal for large, open areas where a clean, monolithic appearance is desired.
