BD+C RESEARCH: AEC FIRMS BRACE FOR TOUGH SLEDDING

Nearly one-half of AEC firms expect the outbreak of COVID-19 to have a sizable impact on their businesses. The same percentage anticipates that projects they have been working on would be postponed in the wake of the pandemic. Those are key findings in a poll that BD+C has been conducting for the past three weeks to gauge the effect of the virus on the U.S. construction industry. During the polling period, the virus has wreaked havoc on the global economy, and has led President Trump to declare a national emergency.
