Direction to rectify and/or complete under s 72 - Email service within time - Onus upon builder to prove email not opened within the time. The authority served two directions. One by post was not received within sufficient time so as to allow the statutory period of 28 days for carrying out the work. The other notice was sent by email and did thereafter allow the 28 days unless the builder proved it had not opened the email within such time as to allow the 28 days. The builder did not so prove.
