摘要

2010 is a special year for acoustics and acousticians "down under" (i.e. Australia and New Zealand). This year the three-yearly International Congress (ICA) will be taking place in Sydney during August. Associated with the Congress are three satellite symposia each with a particular focus connected with subjective sound and two have special relevance to building acoustics. Therefore included in this issue, as well as an announcement about the ICA, is detailed information about the International Symposium on Room Acoustics (ISRA) to be held in Melbourne, 29-31 August, and the International Symposium on Sustainability in Acoustics (ISSA) to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, 30-31 August.
