DEFRA is still planning to publish new guidance on "proportionate and robust" contaminated land decision making shortly, despite widespread concerns its last draft does not address Part 2A's "unacceptable intake" requirements but introduces impractical requirements for medical evidence of harm before determining sites.rnBB understands DEFRA still intends to publish the guidance, promised in September's English soil strategy, before Christmas or quickly after. It does not propose to circulate any further drafts, despite widespread concerns among professionals with the last one.
