Microsoft has put flesh on the bones of Zune, its digital media player and online-music service (CM, 31 Jul, 2006). Microsoft says that the offering will see the light of day in mid-November in the U.S., in time for the holiday season, and that the device will be on the shelves and retailing at US$250. Zune specs include: 1. 30GB of storage and 3in screen. 2. Wi-Fi functionality, enabling Zune-to-Zune sharing of music and images. 3. Preloaded content, including audio and video tracks from unknown artists, as well as film shorts and rock posters.
