Two new species of oak (Fagaceae, Quercus sect. Lobatae) from the Sierra Madre del Sur, Mexico

Two new species of oak (Fagaceae) with narrowly ellipticlanceolate leaves from the Sierra Madre del Sur of western Jalisco, Mexico, are described and illustrated.Quercus cualensis is a local endemic andQ. iltisii a more widespread species; they are closely related toQ. salicifolia Née.
