The Chairman welcomed members to the 47th meeting, the first held remotely on Zoom, and explained it would be necessary to use the same link to rejoin the meeting when each 40-minute slot expired. The year had been difficult with a lack of physical meetings, both to brickworks and tours of buildings, and he thanked all members for their continued support. Manufacturers were not able to host visits currently, but this situation will change. The regular publication of Information is most valuable, and with Richard Harris's move to Bristol he is making progress in getting copies on-line. He thanked the committee for their efforts to update the list of members, for handling an increased volume of enquiries, and keeping the activities going.
