The deck for a new bridge in Baghdad, Iraq was installed in just 25 days earlier this year. The project began almost two years ago in a meeting in Iraq which established a relationship between Unibridge and Al-Moussawi Group. The Government of Baghdad Province wanted Al-Naharawann Bridge to be a permanent structure that was able to handle local traffic - and could be built rapidly. The Unibridge concept was well suited to the specific needs of reconstruction in Iraq and a 140m-long bridge could be built very rapidly using equipment and personnel available.
