This glossy publication documents the 54 nominees, finalists and winners of the annual awards given by the Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat. As a souvenir for all involved it will surely be a proud addition to trophy cabinets around the world; to warrant the attention of a wider audience, I'm not so sure.rnI have some sympathy with the editor who had the task of compiling such a disparate bunch of corporate sales patter into a cohesive volume. The majority of the text reads as a cut and paste of publicity-speak and technical jargon, with a sprinkling of buzz words, mainly boasting of sustainable credentials.
