Not to everyone's taste as you cannot see the colour of the whisky but Campbeltown's Glen Scotia Distillery certainly has a striking new range of packaged products. Leeds-based innovators Brand Britain has redesigned five expressions (10,12,16,18 and 21 year olds) which are being launched internationally this month in around 15 countries. Opening orders are currently 141 % ahead of last year's sales. The same naysayers asked why there is a 12yo as well as a ten and whether there would be much difference between a 16 and an 18yo but the highland cow and northern lights imagery appeared to hit the spot.
