Status of HSR Passenger Transport During the Tomb-Sweeping Day

During the 4-day holiday for the 2013 Tomb-Sweeping Day, THSRC added 130 trains during a 6-day period that began on April 3rd and ended on April 8th, 2013 to transport the homecoming passengers. The transport capacity increased 16.4% than that of the usual timetable. The number of passengers transported peaked on April 7th, reaching 216,813, which set a new record for daily passenger volume.
