BASF to Host Restoration Symposium at 2012 Concours d'Elegance

As collectors, restorers, auction buyers, media and auto executives gather at the 2012 Concours d'Elegance at The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, Mich., July 28-29, BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions will host a Classic Car Restoration Symposium and dis- play its Glasurit paint system and its rare, Chip Foose-redesigned 1957 Mercedes 3OOSL Gullwing. The BASF-hosted Classic Car Restoration Symposium will run in a constant rotation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 28 in the Judea Room at The Inn at St. John's conference center, and will feature experts presenting a series of restoration seminars on finishes, metal fabrication, chrome re-plating and leather work.
