BOAT asked design studios to send their concepts for an explorer yacht tender for high latitudes, meaning it had to have autonomy and built-in redundancy. It could be larger than a traditional tender but not exceed 65ft. Below are two concepts from H2 Yacht Design and Radyca. Radyca's Cybertender takes inspiration from a hypothetical collaboration with Tesla. This electric amphibious tender is in carbon fiber and has the capacity to carry other amphibious vehicles and water toys, plus living space.
