Advent, BroadQ turn PS2s into multimedia gateways

Advent's combination of Ultraband USR8800 Switch Routers (80 Gbps edge routers) and UAG210 Access Gateways (the CPE), leverages TDM and ethernet to segment existing HFC into switched, nonblocking, point-to-point IP connections scalable from 5 Mbps to 40 Mbps. Furthermore, the connections are channelized to serve unique traffic types in order to segregate applications such as VoIP and VPN services. But Ultraband has been on the market for several months and is already in deployment with providers.
