By general consensus this year's London Design Festival, the seventh, was the best yet. The most successful shows revealed the work of little-known designers for the first time, including Jair Straschnow's Grassworks at the Aram Gallery and young Spanish designers at 100% Design (more about these in a future issue); Max Lamb's China Granite project (page 67); Dick van Hoff at Libby Sellars (page 71), and young Polish designers at 5 Cromwell Place (featured in Blueprint 283). While new venues such as the Portobello Dock has inventive shows and installations such as The Hatch.
